On Encouragement

I read one of the most important things I may ever read this morning.  It was in a Joyce Meyer devotional.  I have always heard the saying, “You reap what you sow,” but normally thought of it in a negative context.

Today, I heard: “Be the encouragement you need.”  If you feel you need comfort, encouragement, fellowship – be all that to someone else first.  Today.

And so if you are reading this, I say – press forward, keep going towards your goals, and finish the race.  Never give up, never lose hope, never stop trying.

My mother always tells me:  The only reason you won’t succeed is if you stop trying.
