I cannot bear to Blog, for I’ve naught to say
For to Blog, just to Blog is just NOT okay.
“But you’re Blogging right now,” you may want to quip.
But I say, “No I’m not: it is just a Blip.”

What if someone you loved were dying. But they were in a really dark place.
You would understand the Parable of the 10 Virgins (Matt. 25). It says the Kingdom of Heaven is like five foolish and five wise. The foolish did not bring oil for their lamps. The wise did. The bridegroom comes, and the foolish cannot light their lamps to enter the banquet. They beg the others to share their oil.
So like, it always bothered me that the ones that had oil did not share. But now I have come to realize — it is not because they did not want to share. It is not possible to hand it to someone because oil represents the Holy Spirit.
An individual has to reach for this on their own.
So I would be remaining incredibly sad over my loved one in darkness. But my mother and brother are bringing him Light. For he is sick and they are visiting. So he is not without Light.
And a day is like a thousand years. So it does not matter if he reaches for It only in the final hour. My prayer is that he reaches for Oil and enters the Banquet.
